Britain’s Got Talent 2014: Watch as schoolboy singer James Smith blows the judges away with Feeling Good rendition
James, 15, has some tough musical competition on this year’s contest with Collabro and Lucy Kay sailing through last week.
If this audition is anything to go by Britain’s Got Talent could rival the X Factor for singing talent this year. Covering Nina Simone’s Feeling Good, 15-year-old schoolboy James Smith blew the judges of the ITV talent competition away with his version of the classic song.
The only singer on the judging panel Alesha Dixon was clearly impressed with the talented teenager as she nodded along with the song, while fellow judge Amanda Holden can be seen miming that ‘she loves him’ which is a ringing endorsement if ever there was one.
But will James be able to convince the judges to use that all-new Golden Buzzer on him to spirit him straight into the finals?
You’ll have to watch the show to find out but there could be a cheeky smile creeping onto a certain judge’s face.
