I
want to introduce myself. I am from Antwerp, Belgium and am the
founder and president of the International Dr. Nina Simone Fan
Club. At the early age of 14 the music of Dr. Nina Simone came
into my life. Her voice and the emotional impact of her music
struck me like a bolt of lightening. An incomparable experience!
At that moment I realized she would hold me spellbound till my
last day.

Since
that time I have dedicated myself to documenting the life of this
extraordinary woman. I am proud to tell you that after years of
research I now posses one of the world's most complete archives
on the life and music of the legendary Dr. Nina Simone and can
reply in detail to almost any question one might have regarding
the Diva.

In
the 1980's, while Dr. Simone was living in Holland, I was fortunate
to meet her in person. It was the start of a life long friendship
and the birth of the International Dr. Nina Simone Fan Club. Over
the years I have been privileged to share many exceptional moments
with Dr. Simone, in work, in music, and in life.

From
the multitude of letters the Fan Club has received over the years
from; members, loyal devotees of the diva, as well as new and
young people from all over the world - I know that there are many
of you, like me, that were overwhelmed when they discovered the
Queen of African Rooted Classical Music. I propose to you to join
the Fan Club and share in this passion for Dr. Nina Simone.
